London Stock Exchange Main Board

The London Stock Exchange (LSE) is a global stock exchange where companies and governments can raise capital by issuing and trading securities like shares and bonds. It is one of the world's oldest and most international stock exchanges, operating markets such as the Main Market for larger companies and AIM (Alternative Investment Market) for small and growing businesses. Today, trading is almost entirely electronic. History: Its history dates back to 17th-century coffee houses, and it has operated continuously since 1801. Trading became fully electronic in 1986 with "The Big Bang" deregulation.
